If you’ve consumed even half an hour of news today, I’m gonna need you to play at least one game of Tetris. Stay informed, but take care of yourselves, friends.
Hung a guy at Nuremburg for doing this, FYI. Not "a thing like this" but literally this, exactly.
ICE/DHS launched a database with "the worst of worst criminal aliens." As a piece of propaganda, it's reminiscent of work put out by white nationalist or nativist outlets, which selectively highlight migrants accused of or convicted by crimes. Here's a 2024 article from VDARE, framed similarly.
It's been a tough news week, but there's a silver lining for the Cussing Coalition*. Today's What’s Resonating also examines which political takes are *actually* resonating in response to Renee Good's killing. Link below! ⬇️ *mostly me yelling about profanity at any opportunity

I’m sorry, but a country album called “Snipe Hunt” is *genius.*
I need to become friends with someone not evil who has a boat in DC. Pls advise.
It's been a rough few years, but I truly believe this story should serve as a dire warning to *everyone.*
Between Musk & the Trump administration, Media Matters has been squeezed to the brink. In settlement discussions, lawyers for X demanded the organization hand over all its cash and shut down — all because MM reported ads appeared on X next to antisemitic content. www.nytimes.com/2025/07/25/u...
The Journal and Obama attacks may only be the beginning. Trump’s best hope of keeping his supporters happy may very well be increasing the scale and tempo of his authoritarian attacks — and that means there will be more to come in the months ahead. www.mediamatters.org/fox-news/tru...

Based on my uniquely qualified professional opinion, I believe two facts: @couriernewsroom.bsky.social has some of the best left-leaning social media in the game. guest @peltzmadeline.bsky.social is one of the leading experts in the right online. This is a no-brainer. Go listen/watch/follow!
A new flavor of conservative content is targeting women online—and it’s going viral. @akilahhughes.com explores the rise of the "tradwife" aesthetic on the latest episode of COURIER's new podcast, How Is This Better:
Like you may be Online™️, but did you also make everyone at the function look at the Guadalajara face lift?
To the people arguing about whether Zohran’s success is due to social media or his policies, I’d like to introduce the (not so secret) “all of the above” option. His platform is popular AND they messaged/mobilized in a different way than many other similar candidates. *ty for visiting my soapbox*
TIL Cougartown was one of the first American TV placement for an Ed Sheeran song (ty Charlotte Lawrence’s interview with Zach Sang). I don’t care if you hate Ed Sheeran, this is about Cougartown being ahead of its time. Go watch it.
