Jan 1989: Ad for Who Framed Roger Rabbit «Who Framed Roger Rabbit»

Honestly might be my favorite joke in any movie

Everything about this scene is amazing. "How do we know he didn't invent the bloody thing?"

Wise Shanging Superman! A colourful bootleg of the Seacon Seawing with an ANAZING name. Lacks the chest peg so the combined forms seems out. Given the quality that’s probably… wise (and indeed shanging)

Fun fact! If you’re in the UK, Shin Sakura Wars is currently on the PS4 Store for 50 quid. It’s been out for years though and so is frequently in sales if you can’t drop 50 right now. It’s also less than £20 in CeX if you want a physical copy 🙂

Heads up for anyone who sees the Shin Sakura Wars PC port flying around (spoiler warning: it's AI coded)

November Rain, Estranged, Coma, probably Don’t Cry, heck possibly half of the UYI albums were reaching for 6 mins (it’s been a minute, I’d need to double check) … I feel like I’m being pranked by this question 🫠

Pterry. 💜 Interviewed in EDGE February 1997 where he discusses Discworld II and how it'll be easier than the first Discworld point and click adventure, originality in games, and the ones he was enjoying playing at that time: Tomb Raider and Wing Commander IV.

🎶Everybody's talkin' at me I can't hear a word they're sayin'...

Here is Dancougar loose! Boasting 12 modes between Mammouth, Land Ligar, Black Cougar and Eagle Fighter (all sic) they certainly pack in the play value. The Headmaster Eagle is cute. Magnificent, though could use another member to bulk out the upper body (maybe another bird for wings ala Predaking)

Robo Machine Dancougar Giftset! Serious contender for greatest packaging art of all time. I used to drool over one of these in a local shop (where it lingered until the early 90s) though it was too expensive for a pocket money purchase & not cartoon-shilled enough for an occasion #vintagetoytuesday

Pretty much, but first the Mammouth fought off the Ultrabots (Dread Launchers)! “I thought mammoths were extinct…” “Ones that can change their shapes aren’t”

Gun to your head, name a song that’s over 6 minutes long.

Remember when Transformers toys had gimmicks like this?

1987: Toy Robots, Transformers & Rock Lords and Puzzles from Argos (+Dancougar Robo Machine; Go-Bot Robo Machine Winch Helicopter; Robot Arm Machine; Super Go-Bot Robo Machine Car Transporter; Go-Bot Robo Machine Ford Ranger Pick-Up Truck; Puzzler Fiends Go-Bot, and more)

Here is Mirage from the new Autobot three pack. I’m really digging the colors on those thing. The head sculpt is pretty nice as well 📷 Transformers Age of the Primes Mirage
