I keep forgetting about this account! I am here! I started novel no2 officially this week? I've started going to the gym. Yet in a 2 month long endometriosis flare up. Life is... certainly doing its thing.

Just made a grave mistake, a mistake that I have never made in 37 years of being a south east Londoner. I accidentally got trapped amongst a crush of lairy football fans leaving Millwall. My dad worked next to Millwall for years and I still avoided it! Am now v late for dinner.

Watched The Brutalist at the Barbican tonight (obviously). Incredible film that felt like a novel. Am still processing it. Glad the intermission was there! Made everyone take a breath. Also wasn't expecting Joe Alwyn in it, or that he was going to be so fucking creepy. Jesus christ.

I spent half of January abroad, having a lovely time. I've been in three continents...! I've seen monsoons and one small bushfire! I've swum in the Indian Ocean! and yet January in the UK persists. this WEEK persists. I have never felt time drag like it has been now.
