Men will want to change the conversation you are having on your platform to what they think you SHOULD be talking about instead. It's called switch-tracking. When you refuse to switch the conversation and engage on their terms, they will accuse you of being misadrist and hating men.

"Masculine" and "Feminine" are not feelings. They are interpretations of feelings. When you feel powerful, society has taught you to associate that with men. When you feel desirable, society has taught you to associate that with women. There is no universal Masculine or Feminine energy. It's made up

Men are taught to make snap judgements so they can be a "leader." Men are trained to process ideas through a judgement lens, not a curiosity lens. Even if they didn't know anything about the topic, men will die on the hill of their opinion.

I genuinely grew thinking the world used to be in black and white until a few decades ago.

Men can make the world safer. They can deconstruct patriarchal masculinity within themselves. I'm starting a workshop to help men who want to do that. Interested?

Ceasefire in Gaza seems to mean they can redirect their attention to the West Bank. Rounding up civilians. Sniping children. Bulldozing streets. This wasn't a ceasefire, it was a redeployment.

As well as being (a) scientifically illiterate and (b) an attack on trans rights, this is also putting personhood as linked to conception which paves the way for a full abortion ban.

Trump just abolished all men. All embryos are, at conception, female. After about 9-14 weeks of gestation male physiology develops. For an ideology that's supposedly 'science-based' these chumps really can't get high school biology right.

I am one of those genders that the United States no longer recognizes. My government doesn't have the right to define me, but they do have the ability to embolden violent people against me. His political theater has real consequences on people like me.

According to Trump, the official policy of the US government is that there are only two genders, male or female. My existence is an act of rebellion.

I just went through my TikTok following list. I send some DMs to a few people, saying goodbye. It feels stupid, but I'm grieving today. It felt like I was part of something meaningful and important. And now it feels even more impossible to change the world into what it needs to become for our kids.

The banning of TikTok is a power grab for the government and a money grab for Meta (and all the politicians who bought stock in Meta). Our government is afraid of its own people assembling together to expose the reality of the world we live in. They are afraid of us organizing.

On my walk this morning I brought fresh candles to the memorial my daughter and I made for the man I found here, deceased, last year. We are supposedly the wealthiest nation in the world but we let our citizens die in the cold without shelter.

Let me say it again. 6 figures, 6 ft, 6 pack men... This is the male gaze, not the female gaze. Men are telling each other that this is what women want. Stop listening to podcast bros tell you about women and start listening to what women say about themselves.

Men are so fragile because manhood is never guaranteed. Men spend their lives earning and maintaining their manhood by trying to perform their gender correctly. They parade women they were able to "win" in front of other men to try to gain man-points as some sort of fucked up gender affirming care.

Do you think men are aware of how differently they treat women based on whether or not they judge them as f***able? Either every smile or kindness is interpreted as flirting or you don't exist. Or do you think they are blissfully ignorant in their lack of self awareness?

Men who self identify as hopeless romantics are a red flag: they may feel they NEED a romantic connection to feel like a full human being. They may be fully invested in love bombing until they "win" you and flip. So much romantic languages in our culture is really just ownership language.

A gendered issue: men see their children as extensions of themselves and not their own unique beings. They want a lineage. They want their name to continue. And as children become more and more themselves, fathers struggle to stay connected because they are no longer like their father.
