We can all support NCAR by speaking up for Earth and Space Sciences. agu.quorum.us/home/
NCAR is a crown jewel of US scientific innovation. Dismantling it is utterly crazy. I hope representatives around the country are hearing lots of pushback from their constituents.

NCAR is quite literally our global mothership. Everyone who works in climate and weather has passed through its doors and benefited from its incredible resources. Dismantling NCAR is like taking a sledgehammer to the keystone holding up our scientific understanding of the planet. Unbelievable.
Does a 5-minute, high energy, scientific storytelling presentation sound interesting to you?! If so, consider submitting a presentation to ESIP's Spark (formerly Ignite) session at AGU 2025. Spark is a fantastic opportunity to share your science! Submission deadline 10/27/2025 #csdms #hydrology-rfg

Looks like Idaho’s mountains could get some moisture
Signs of some "big time" weather for TBD portions of U.S. West coast over next 10 days. A major #AtmosphericRiver, & perhaps a short sequence of very wet ARs, will affect some section of coast between NorCal & WA--perhaps bringing very heavy rain accumulations. #CAwx #ORwx [1/6]
