After a decade tailspin with, Alzheimer’s, it’s over; grandmother passed at 5am. This feels like the loss of one of my parents, since I was a “village-raised” kid. It’s been hard. I’m lucky to have been raised by her, and to have gotten what time I had. ❤️

Today we would like to recognize Ken Sample aka Ken Cougar. A Black man who is credited with creating and coining the term "Fursona". While drawing one of his "Exotics" Ken drew a Cougar character that looked strikingly like himself. Attendees of this conference also wanted their own characters!
