The Wizard Nebula (NGC7380). One of my favourite targets. Night darkness is getting shorter now so it was good to shoot a few clear hours last night. 165 minutes x 60 second exposures. #astronomy #astrophotography @stormhour.com @photohour.bsky.social
The Full Moon (Blue Moon) is very low in the sky tonight. No chance of getting my scopes on it, especially as cloud is getting thicker too. It looks quite atmospheric through the trees I think. Sunday 31st May 2026
Star trails from last night using my Seestar S30 Pro. Unfortunately the sky brightened too much on the second image, but I did notice something interesting towards the top right. Could this be a meteor or is it just a satellite I wonder? Tuesday 26th/Wednesday 27th May 2026

Fantastic day at the BAA/SPA Back to Basics event in Newquay. Sadly the sun didn’t come out for us to use the solar scopes but it was a fantastic event with loads of great talks. My talk was well received, I had lots of people come up to ask my questions afterwards which was great ⭐️🌙🪐
Wednesday 29th April 2026 Star Trails imaged over 165 minutes Seestar S30 Pro I am absolutely blown away by this little scope, I have always loved star trails and this scope makes them so easy to do. #seestars

Hazy clouds around tonight but I managed to grab some more images with my Seestar S30 Pro and my S50. I sat out looking for Lyrids until well after midnight but had no luck. Wednesday 22nd April 2026
