#Toronto Bottom line. A 24/7 cooling centre has to be a full service emergency service. Staff, a/c, cots, 3 meals a day, showers, a clothing room. Would you open a library without books? A daycare without toys? And we need more than one. @mayoroliviachow.ca @alejandrabravo.bsky.social

🤬Today. @cityoftoronto only 24/7 cooling centre/shelter for a geography of 43km east-west and 21 km north-south for unhoused, dangerously housed (eg without a/c in rooming houses) leaves a lot to be desired - like cots and food. Tell your councillor and @mayoroliviachow.ca 🙏
