I have a new studio space in an office building, it's very chill, a few therapists, a massage place, etc, and there's something healing my work ethic when I see the parking lot clear out on a Friday afternoon. I mean, well, I'm still working of course, but it's nice to see.
"Falling Slowly" was such an important cultural moment, for me as someone who was just starting college when it came out. So much of what became hipster culture in the late '00s and early '10s were redundant spinoffs from this utterly beautiful song and film. Rest in power. youtu.be/k8mtXwtapX4?...

Took my drawing class to the art museum and then we were dramatically kicked out because there was a bat loose in the Early Christian room. The students now have a lifelong brotherly bond that could only be replicated by war or an adventure obstacle course.
