What is it like to be a pedestrian or bicyclist in Des Moines? Just witnessed a pedestrian almost get hit by two different cars trying to cross the street while they had a clear green walk signal. Right after that I saw someone literally driving in a green painted bike lane.
Today was a sweating, rainy and sweaty again run. I ran 8 miles even though my legs said no.
Proud of myself for remembering to put sunscreen on the back of my knees while working an outdoor event. 🥰
ISF officials I guess don’t care that their headliner was drunk driving last night?! Not to mention the other charges… “BigXThaPlug, the stage name of Xavier Landum, is facing driving while intoxicated, marijuana possession and illegal firearm possession charges.”

Old lady asked to take my photo at an event today holding a clipboard with the word “VOTE” painted on it and she exclaimed afterwards, “what a handsome young man!”
An accident that could have very well killed a cyclist, happened to be caused by someone who was drunk behind the wheel and driving without a license. “Police said 34-year-old Demetrius Patterson Carrington faces several charges, including second-offense OWI and driving while barred.”
