As a reminder that protests don’t end where they start: when news of the Stamp Act first arrived in America in May 1765, most printers reacted by advertising on the premise of “buy now before prices go up.” Took until August/September for even the people most affected to actively turn against it.

It’s a recalibration of economic control. Oligarchs don’t live paycheck to paycheck. They have the capital to buy market dips and recoup faster, acquiring more assets at fire sale prices along the way. When the dust finally settles, they will own more. The rest of us will own less. A lot less.

Stock market in complete limbo, retirement savings disappearing, farmers facing devastating uncertainty… and he went golfing. If he ran a company the way he ran the country this weekend, he’d be fired.

Respectfully my friend, it’s NOT just the fault of one man. It’s the fault of an entire political party that bowed like cowards to this one man. And it’s the fault of way too many of his voters who allowed him to lie to them every single day for the past 10yrs. They ALL own this.

As the economic news keeps coming out over the coming weeks keep one thing in mind: this is the fault of one man and didn’t need to happen.

Bill Ackman freaking out about tariffs and saying "this isn't what we voted for" is as clear a crystallization of conservative self-delusion as you could ever ask for. Yes it is you idiot, you voted specifically for this! He talked about this NON STOP

What will Fox cover tomorrow instead of the global financial meltdown? A Hillary Clinton serverghazi B Some kid at Oberlin spray painting a Tesla C Hunter Biden dickpix D Woke applesauce E MS13 caravan outside your house right now, Grandma!

A sudden drop like this—especially during a global selloff—isn’t a sign of strength. It signals collapsing demand expectations, fear of recession, and market instability. This isn’t prosperity, it’s a warning.

Now that's what I voted for!

Important to remember that the reason most Trump voters think everything's fine is that their chosen media is telling them little more than that he's cutting government waste and frogmarching criminals out of the country. Real information doesn't reach them. An economic collapse? That might.
