3 weeks ago I was in St Just, Cornwall and the sun set at 9:30ish. 4 days ago I was in Kirkwall Orkney and nights had drawn out again, it was still daylight at 11pm. I'm now back in Gloucestershire on the train home, it's 8:50pm and the sun set 10 muns ago 🌅🫪 #DidntItGetDarkEarly

I'm on an old Avanti west coast train run by Crosscountry. I couldn't find the bike spaces because it's an older train so it's at the front or the back behind the drivers cab. As it's a 7½ journey, bikes hung up and bags are with me. No standing on a crowded train this time #bikesontrains #cycling

Went out for one last ride this morning. I've done over 1600km on this bike from one end of the country to the other with no problems, but a second day of riding Edinburgh's cobbled streets and I lost a fork pack going down a hill in Leith 🫣🙄 #Cycling #Edinburgh

I've now ridden around 3 capital cities, London, Cardiff and now Edinburgh. So where's next on my list, Dublin, Paris maybe? Plus I managed a lap of Holyrood Park, now that's something I claim for Richmond Park in a city that's closer to home 🚴‍♂️ #cycling #Edinburgh #Scotland
