They heard the Grindcast was going on hiatus and immediately responded
every magic card looks like it was made by whoever was the best photoshopper on mtgsalvation in 2015
I will once again go on record to say it's dumb that blood moon even works as printed. If you make my creature a zombie it doesn't lose first strike. Why would making my land a mountain fuck it up so bad
7 hours into the cedh match "shouldn't we...do something?" "hold on, let's just see how this plays out"
I think a final fantasy set done properly should communicate the joy & discovery of playing those games. But every card just feels like this, some hyper-specific reference, an inside joke impossible to get unless you're already on the inside of it. Completely inaccessible as a standalone piece.
"11 hour cedh final ends in draw so stalling player can make flight" close enough welcome back misetings.com
The final fantasy set may be cool for big FF fans but as a magic player I am STRUGGLING to find anything to talk about with this set. Just feels a mess aesthetically and structurally and every card feels like a rehash of a card that already exists
One c-suite dipshit sent an email from his iPhone saying "don't commission a new frame, use the one we already have" and now every universes beyond card gets Warhammer 40k aesthetics no matter what it is or how stupid it looks
Amulet school day 1: Collins: Ok first off, scapeshift with four lands and an amulet or spelunking is a kill Me: oh well that's just completely unacceptable

This is what, the fifth major financial crisis of my adult lifetime? I hate these motherfuckers so much

Forgot to post this on bluesky but JESSE WON THE WHOLE ASS RC WITH BREACH AND THEN SHE CAME ON THE CAST TO TALK ABOUT IT and this is a very serious interview because we're professionals and we don't just do bits the whole time @tiddypills.bsky.social soundcloud.com/chris-castro...
Grindcast 283: You Mean to Tell Me a Tiddypills Won this Tournament? (With Jesse Robkin!)
There was only one type of episode that made sense the week after Jesse won the RC with Breach! We got her on the cast to talk about the tournament, her 5-year arc as a Breach main, and what the futur

If we're talking about fantasy writing and you start talking about "magic systems" I am no longer taking you seriously
We had some technical difficulties but the guest episode could not be denied after this weekend
Yo that Billie Eilish song makes me cry even when a character I love who has grown over three seasons and is finally allowing himself to be earnest and experience happiness and receive love didn't just sacrifice himself to save his friends
So on twitter in a thread about Mahmoud Khalil getting disappeared by homeland security there are a bunch of replies saying he deserved to get disappeared because of his political beliefs 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Honestly being nice to people during tournaments is fucking broken, I highly recommend it
If your opponent asks you how many GRVs you've received you have a 5th amendment right to stop talking to them because they're a fucking cop

My ADHD ass forgot masks, anyone at Charlotte have one they can spare?
Cute lil outfit to play some LCQs with my cute lil jeskai deck
In Thursday night modern testing culture we don't say "I love you" we say "I'm gonna go grab a bunch of coke zeros for everyone" and I think that's beautiful
People have asked me for a sideboard guide, so here is ~20 minutes worth of effort towards that. In the grindier matchups especially I do a good bit of adjusting based on what my opponent is doing. My biggest piece of advice is you should play as many games as you can before the tournament.
This card is really really good. Gonna be registering it this weekend. Can't be sure about my deck but I'm sure this card is important in modern
I guess it's not technically illegal to put the entire power budget of fifteen years worth of orzhov cards into a single indestructible card advantage engine but, like, I probably wouldn't have done it that way
