The licensing thing is true, by the by. Kyoko Mizuki and Yumiko Igarashi despise each other, and have been fighting each other in court over ownership since 1991-ish, to the point that Igarashi sued Toei to put a HARD stop on all international broadcasting and licensing in 2002. It's... bad.
