In the summer of 2026, the Mediterranean is experiencing its longest-ever run of consecutive days with mean sea surface temperature of 28°C or higher – 34 days so far – and the streak is still ongoing! 🔥🌊 This streak is twice as long as the next longest and seven times as long as the third one.
