Sorry for the time it took me to get back to everyone over the Confuzzled nonsense, I did not expect the post to get so much traction, didn’t realise just how many people appreciated the fursuit lounge kit I designed and built, thank you for the support and over 900 direct messages!

Cable containment for the LV side of the transformer and the new retrofitted ACB are in place, just need to add 100m of unistrut for the cable containment from the ACB into the LV panel, the LV panel will have two 1600a per phase feeds.

One of the jobs I need to do today/tomorrow is remove the old HV cable termination that went to the transformer that blew up and install/terminate the new cable. It’s 13kV XLPE cable to replace the old PILC. HV doesn’t stay where you put it so bends & sharp edges have to be avoided in the cable box.

I’m really bad as asking for help, one of the most common things Faith says to me is “you could ask me to help”. I asked one of the people in the village (who I repair vehicles for) if they could arrange for me to drop off the scrap timber from the old fence, cheeky sod just turned up & did it :p

End of an era, all the kit is collected from the CFz stores. It was a bit bittersweet because three of the four of us that did the main move were the original build team that built them when I first designed them 15 years ago.

(Having to rely on second hand info due to being blocked)but yes, happy to discuss in person but it will not be a one way street. I always put myself between SC staff and a problem internal or external and talking this out will involve me showing exactly what I defended them from all year…

This type of thing needs to be sorted face to face as text does not convey emotion but also because you have posted telegram chats in the public sphere you cannot expect someone to talk about a sensitive matter over text with there being the liklihood of you posting it.

This is entirely true and as I am both damned if I do and damned if I don’t respond I will Just leave this here as it may help determine who is telling the truth.

So, speaking as your friend here, when you made the really expensive prop order mistake on the run up to Scotiacon where Ciel told you not to worry about it and paid it that he would be entirely entitled to feel a bit betrayed when you posted what you posted in that con chat?

Having tripping issues with a £5M lathe because the hydraulic oil is overheating, proper field engineering covering the hydraulic tank in heat sinks. A dozen of these and some decent fans should keep it running while we get a new, bigger chiller.

On a different note, I take an elderly neighbours car for MOT (I can use the ATLs at a local centre myself after hours) and I’m greeted with what I assumed were Transit droppings…. I made a joke to the owner about transit droppings only to be corrected in that they are movano droppings!

Read through this, owning the situation would have meant apologising to me, this is basically “we went about it the wrong way but we still fired the person that had the guts to speak up and challenge us”
