I have yet to use a HP laptop, computer or printer, that wasn't complete junk. I am currently trying to wipe an old family HP laptop, and it will not let me boot into my ABAN USB. In fact, it won't accept any USB that does not have a Windows OS on it. What can I say? Avoid HP like the plague.

Well there we are. Nigel Farage has blown a gaping hole in his excuse for why his secret £5 million ‘gift’ from a crypto billionaire did not need to be declared. Reform are up to their neck in sleaze and they clearly think the rules don’t apply to them. www.theguardian.com/politics/202...

Nigel Farage called a by-election against a bin to run away from unanswered questions, but the net is closing in. Grubby pacts, cover-ups, secret gifts, support from a convicted fraudster – it all adds up to a stench of sleaze. The public can smell it. www.theguardian.com/politics/202...

A friend has messaged me, asking if x individual can have my number. The last time I spoke to x individual, he asked if I would like to see a picture of his appendage, after I had told him I was a lesbian. I do not know how many times this needs saying: lesbians are not a man's experiment.

In January, I stopped using X as a communication channel because the platform facilitated the creation of illegal and deeply harmful images by its AI tool, Grok. I am renewing my call for all governmental and parliamentary communications to stop using X. The platform continues to facilitate

Congrats to Bev, who will do a brilliant job delivering a Greater Manchester that works for all. Thank you to everyone who put their faith in Labour, and the brilliant staff, members and volunteers who have put in a real shift during the largest by-election in British history.

Reform UK are up to their neck in scandal. Serious new information has come to light, opening up yet more questions about donations made by George Cottrell and his associates. Frankly, it stinks. I've written to the Electoral Commission to draw it to their attention.

Nigel Farage needs to urgently explain why he welcomed Glenn Gibbins back into Reform just last month. Throwing this man out of his Party should have been the easiest call possible for Reform – but yet again Farage has proven he’s unfit for office. www.chroniclelive.co.uk/news/north-e...

"We are all going to have to give and take, if we are to get to a solution". Andy Burnham is right. Life is about give and take. On issues as important as social care, it is vital that Burnham is able to convey to people the need for individual contribution, for the greater good of all citizens.

"People can't, unhappily, invent their mooring posts, their lovers and their friends, anymore than they can invent their parents. Life gives these and also takes them away and the great difficulty is to say Yes to life" James Baldwin, Giovanni’s Room

I am pleased to hear that Andy Burnham is bringing the review for social care, forward a year. It is in everybody's interest that he succeeds in building a social care system that works. It is also refreshing and welcome to hear of cross-party collaboration on such a salient issue.
