Thanks to @cervidian.bsky.social's support, War of the Western Deep's director @tdcpresents.bsky.social was able to leave his studio job to work on it full-time! In an era of slashed budgets and big-AI, know that there are still people out there interested in small-scale, classically made games!

We're SO excited to announce that Maggie Robertson has joined our incredible voice cast for War of the Western Deep! Maggie has done some absolutely amazing work bringing Skora to life and we can't wait to share more with you in the coming weeks!

Today's indie game: War of the Western Deep (sunsgrove.games). Currently just a demo on Steam, but a competent old-school LucasArts style graphic adventure, with gorgeous art. For people nostalgic for those days, this is one to keep an eye on (among many other graphic adventures in IGF this year).
