It's Way Too Sunny in Cincinnati

Nerdy guy from the Cincinnati area. Elder millennial, likes video games, rock/metal music, Warhammer, the Reds, Bengals, and FC Cincy. Was into anime before it was cool. He/him.

The smear ads against Dr. amy Acton are some of the most ridiculous I've ever seen, and that's saying something. "I can't even work my TV remote" she said in jest. TV ad: "she's a drunk drug addict who can't work her TV!" while curiously making no mention of her opponent, because everyone hates him.

My parents were low income so I often just browsed game shops as a kid. Sometimes mum let me get a game. It'd cost her whole day's wage and a chunk of our rent. Dad once told me to check under the car seat and Pokemon Red was there in a bag. Ownership isn't the only thing we lose with physical media

My mini review of Supergirl: it was....fine. Milly Alcock is fun as the lead, the costumes and effects are on par, but the story itself was pretty forgettable. I do like they gave Kara a little more of her own personality besides "Gee shucks, I'm Superman's cousin." Not a Lobo fan but Momoa did fine

I beat Zelda II on stream using original hardware on Sunday! It was such a great feeling because it’s a tough game! Zelda II was one of my first games as a kid, but I didn’t beat it until a couple years ago on a Switch. This was my first time beating it on my childhood cartridge! 💖
