Portland Police have more or less been on a wildcat work slowdown/strike since 2020 and I assume that’ll get a tad worse now. Idk shit about civ-mil relations as a practice area or academic discipline, but if I was the mayor I’d be staffing up on people who do.

Not to be alarmist, but at this rate, it’s not inconceivable that the Old Trails Fire merges with the Fairview Fire.
