"I think this process has to play out" -- Rep. Mike Flood doesn't call for Rep. Max Miller to drop out of his race or resign despite horrific abuse allegations

The fact that the Democratic senators are agreeing to a continuing resolution until Dec 11th with NO compromises for them is absolute political malpractice and head scratching. Why not even try to ban like…. The arch? Anything!

Let's be clear, Trump is in Las Vegas to champion his billionaire friends he gave the biggest tax break in history to... not the working families who are struggling in the economy have wrecked. The average Nevada family now pays $2,900 more on necessities since Trump took office.

1% of the country owns more wealth than the middle class. Why? Because Washington spent decades fighting for the rich instead of working families, and Trump has taken it to a new level. November is our chance to elect leaders who actually give a shit about working people.

Big Oil faces a clear choice — help ease the burden for families or exploit Trump’s war of choice to generate profits. I’m demanding answers on why Illinois families are paying huge prices, how these companies are profiteering, and what steps they’ll take to provide relief.

Chicago Sun-Times Headline: Pritzker asks oil CEOs to return Iran war windfall profits to Illinois consumers: 'You owe it to the people.'

This is incredible content, it's the same "it's cheaper if you cook / I'm too tired from work to cook" discourse from BlueSky except literally no one posting actually cooks or has a real job, so nobody has any standing to argue either side and yet they're far nastier about it.

for reasons that only make sense if you're insane, a TPUSA kid complaining about burrito costs on xitter has the GOP's biggest divas going for each other's throats.

One of our TPUSA college students gave me his take on affordability:

“A burrito shouldn’t cost $20.”

Yeah, a lot of this is a hangover from Covid and Biden-era inflation, but the lived experience is the same: It just feels like basic things cost too much.

DOJ isn't throwing the case against Davey Hearn out...it's putting it in a drawer "Without prejudice" means they can pull it back the day Trump asks, & he attacked the decision to drop it within hours That's why we're asking for dismissal w/ prejudice More @washingtonpost.com👇 -TN

Senator Whitehouse pointing out how absolutely ludicrous it is to vote for Todd Blanche. There will never be any justice for the Epstein survivors, no justice for the families of the victims of ICE andno justice for the Capitol police that were attacked on Jan. 6. #SheShed #ViVaHerAlliance

Senate Judiciary Democrats 🇺🇸@judiciarydems.senate.gov · yesterday

Sen. WHITEHOUSE: Voting for this guy Todd Blanche today gives Republicans’ blessing to the botched Epstein Files release. Even Pam Bondi pointed at Blanche as responsible. It gives their blessing to his continuing role in the coverup.
