this is the same as homer confessing to lisa that he hired a crooked detective to spy on her so he could learn more about her and when she reacts angrily he says “well all the childless drunks at moe’s thought it was a great idea”

Maria Bartiromo on Democrats pointing out that the economy is not great: "That's just propaganda. I mean, look, things are going well. And I think we're all feeling it. I've spoken with a number of CEOs ... "

if you are a sitting united states senator and are asked if the man who you already voted to confirm as the attorney general will uphold the constitution and you don’t answer with an emphatic yes then you should be immediately be strapped to a pontoon and floated down the potomac out to sea

BRENNAN: You are confident Blanche will uphold the Constitution with the upcoming elections? CASSIDY: Of course there's always existential anxiety. But I am ... as confident as you can be about the future you are. I cannot predict the future

so many things to scream about here, but I continue to return to one thing about so-called moderates and centrists: what do you actually stand for? it’s clear that you have a lot of things you don’t like and don’t want. what are you actually trying to accomplish for anyone

rest assured if alaska voted against him and then was immediately invaded by china or russia he would gleefully deny sending us forces to resist because in his mind they would deserve it as punishment for not loving him enough

Trump: "We heard in Minnesota there was a cyberattack and they blame it on Iran. I don't think so. I blame it on Minnesota because they're grossly incompetent. Iran's got bigger problems than worrying about Minnesota."

currently teaching financial literacy and did multiple lessons on being a conscious consumer and part of that was how brands and corporations are structured. my message to the kids is “how you feel and what you do with this information is entirely up to you but you deserve to know it regardless”

This whole Taylor farms thing and all the food being infected with parasites. It's actually a very good example of why these conglomerants and monopolies shouldn't exist. You shouldn't be able to operate under one name and own 30 brands that do the exact same thing
