Just learned that chemo drug production in India has been severely disrupted due to the cost of raw platinum shooting up thanks to demand from the AI tech industry. Gen AI is pretty much a death cult at this point- from environmental destruction to art theft to displacement, and now this. Wtf man.

rae@superaenbow.bsky.social · 3mo agoFetti is such a special cat. she is so unbelievably patient, polite, and sweet. she can tell when a person or animal is sick and wants to comfort them. she sits politely for her food, never begging. she’s got big ol’ eyes and delicate little paws.
Something I am realising and appreciating more as I grow older is how revolutionary it can be to find and practice love, kindness, whimsy, and camaraderie.
