I used to roller blade a lot. And run, and be active in sports, etc. I liked to roller blade, I just wasn't super good at it. I had to be careful, and I was, 'til I rolled through sand going at a pretty high speed. IDK if you've ever gone through sand wearing roller blades, but you always fall.

Turns out that food companies were only checking their food because the government told them to, which is exactly why we need government regulations.

When I realized there were no rules, life became so much easier. Why do I need to fold my underwear? Who's looking at my underwear? SHOVE IT IN THE DRAWER. Suddenly laundry becomes easier. Why do I have to clean all 4 litter boxes in my house on the same day? Do one per day.

This concept was introduced to me as "run the dishwasher twice" and was an important part of my executive functioning recovery as well as my path to self-acceptance.

I've posted about outrage fatigue before, but I think a lot of people believe they're immune from it. Like they'll know when to act if it comes down to it. But if you're always eyes-deep in a red alert situation, everything that happens looks exactly the same.

Man, they cut a really important scene from Glee, where Kitty and Marley Rose talk about what happened, and build a bridge between animosity and friendship. Kinda sucks that they cut it.

It was always hilarious to me that they made the main character of the first series of Warrior Cats books an orange. Dude that cat was pondering the existence of a paint chip, he wasn't becoming a leader.
