Whoever pushed me to 200 book sales last night (I assume it was one of you lovely #HorrorWritersChat gang) thank you for stepping up for me in my darkest hours. Even though I beat last year's tally in June, this new figure means so much.
Family not understanding how important writing has always been to me does not surprise. "You don't have time to update everyone individually, but you find the time to post longer stuff on Facebook" Yes, because I can ignore replies to a post. People don't get upset if I don't reply immediately.

In nicer stuff, the proofreader has already completed edits on All Quiet on the Terraces. I cannot express how grateful I am that this person has given me so much support and leeway over the last couple of years to get my work out there.

Might sound morbid, but this might be my last Christmas I love it for various reasons. I've relied on it to get me through some dark times I had my first date with Cat at a Christmas market. We go back every year It saved my life more than once So I'm doing a thread of favourite Christmas songs!

Ahead of my funeral, there will be a notice for flowers from close family only. Everyone else should donate to MacMillan, or give blood. It's important my untimely death encourages people to think of others, as far too many people are in their cruel bastard era.
I know a couple of you are waiting on paperbacks from me ordered from Ko-Fi. I haven't forgotten you. I am truly sorry I've not been well enough to get outside much. I will try to put them through as Royal Mail collections instead.
Cancer/chemo life: Yes I am awake at 4:30am, but I've woken up with the most horrendously dry mouth, it's taken me over ten minutes to apply enough internal and external moisturiser to stop it hurting. A saliva stimulating lozenge, and then back to bed.
