Pathfinder 2e Stan, arch-nemesis of the Assurance (Medicine) feat.

Teacher: Your assignment is to take care of these eggs as if they were children. Take it with you everywhere. Student (raises hand): But this is America where eggs aren't shelf stable. Wouldn't taking them everywhere cause them to spoil? Why are we abusing our children? Teacher: ...

Me (poking at #pathfinder2e inventor guide): Hm. Rage is halved on agile weapons but Overdrive isn't and is often comparable in damage to a mid-range rage's damage. So inventor is slightly better at dual wielding than most instincts, on a crit overdrive matching Giant rage dual wielding.

Me (watching an isekai that seems passable): This looks like some good guilty pleasure anime. Anime Character: "If you're looking for a party member that won't betray your secret... Me: No... NOOO! AC: "... you should go to the slave market." Me: NOOOOOOO!

Once again passively annoyed at skilled feudal martial arts YouTubers forgetting armor exists and showing a bunch attacks and making a bunch of points (sometimes literally) that only matter against vastly under equipped peasant soldiers that don't have any armor at all or in duels.

I sorta talked about this a couple days ago but it's oft struck me as goofy that the Primal list is praised as the best in #pathfinder2s because it's got Heal, Haste, Slow, and the classic damage AoEs in it; yet many will waggle a finger at Arcane solely because it's the only list that can't Heal.

Saw someone responding to the mention of Tome of Dungeons with the classic "They should stop making new classes and make options for existing classes" Like, literally the majority of new class books have new subclasses for existing classes in them Legit at least 4 in Impossible Magic #pathfinder2e

I remember a while back reading a webtoon that was nothing special other than making a passing joke about the MC being super good at tasks that were like grinding for XP because she is so used to getting consistent hits of dopamine from modern phone culture. Needs constant stimulation gotta grind.

Got a really goofy reply on one of my #pathfinder2e shorts about the Wizard that was along the lines of "people aren't going to care about the fluff of an ability if the ability doesn't work" implying Wizard curriculums don't work. And it proceeded to argue the wizard can't hold a candle to...

Didn't notice it before but with the physical book in front of me it seems like Eidolons are very slightly streamlined with their ability modifiers being more static. IIRC their used to be different arrays but now you just pick what to put their STR & DEX at now. #pathfinder2e

Huh... At some levels if the allied caster is Frightened 2 a Spellshifter with Assurance Arcana can auto-crit the spellshift, so that's funnily enough a solid time to launch a spell that repeats on Sustain so they can Share Burden for the rest of the fight. #pathfinder2e

Thank you Paizo for the day one hotfix to #pathfinder2e Spellshifter's "Share Burden". Balance of the game is officially un-destroyed. No more super-mythic casting as a rogue.

Here with your regular reminder that Spellshifter from #pathfinder2e is pants-shittingly overpowered because you can Sustain ally spells multiple times very easily and use your Arcana DC (which scales drastically faster) for the Spell DC and Spell Attack rolls. At around 9th you can have +6 higher.

The #pathfinder2e Hedge Mage nerf/clarifications are somewhat suffering from a kneejerk reaction of "it's better to just go another spellcasting archetype". Hedges are now limited to only having R1 spells in their keepsake until the next tiers of casting feats. But lets dig in.

Commander: Leading people is hard. Necromancer: Yeah you have to possess them with the animating essence of your undead thralls and they naturally resist so you might only make your enemies stab their friends once. Commander: What?! Necromancer: What? What do you use? A flag? #pathfinder2e

So there are 2 people named Erik Davis in my overlapping fields and this is Not the one who wrote TechGnosis. The fact that he's being threatened with SIX YEARS jail time for legal protest activities against the government is legitimately terrifying in a "have a plan in place" kind of way. Holy shit

Sam Levin@samtlevin.bsky.social · last wk.

A Minnesota religious studies professor is facing six years in prison, with the DOJ saying he is part of an "antifa" conspiracy against ICE Erik Davis speaks out about his prosecution, largely based on a handful of his comments in Signal chats. He's not accused of any violence “It’s petty revenge"

What if there was board game that came as a puzzle because it comes as if it had been previously unboxed so the components are loose but you have the means to re-box them how they would have been of not for the gimmick.

Tomb Raider King anime makin' it real clear how much Solo Leveling got right about its start and how big the difference can be without it. Not saying Solo Leveling is well written, I'm just sayin' TRK suffers from not having things SL does do. Like 3 eps in and I know nigh NOTHING about the MC.
