This gets me worked up so much. Smoke/CO2 detectors should be cheap. Like amazingly cheap. Like 5 bucks a pop max. This tech saves lives and is *DECADES* old. Currently priced, it becomes a barrier for low income families to replace. So they roll the dice so they can afford food.

My neighbor who I was a part time companion caregiver for for 3 yrs is in town and I've been doing shifts the last few weeks. She is very into Highway to Heaven(show from the 70s) now and jesus christ it's so cringe and cheesy and awful 😅
