I did an article for NCAS explaining how heatwaves can bad for air quality as well as all the other problems they come with. The short version is with all the chemistry going on and air arriving from the continent, they are especially bad for PM and ozone. 🧵(1/6)

This would be so epically dumb. If I had had to leave while applying for a green card, my (American citizen) husband and I would have just left and taken jobs elsewhere. The potential loss of well-trained people and separation of families is staggering.
