Hi there! #disneyland nerd #photography enjoyer #dissky poster My archive of Disneyland lighting fixture photos is far, far too large.

Recently got a 1992 Walt Disney Imagineering VHS labeled "Mickey’s Surprise Party Tape". I expected generic B-roll, a stage show, or the old cartoon. Instead, it was a private dinner celebrating Euro Disneyland and Mickey Steinberg, Imagineering’s executive vice president, 6 weeks before it opened

I can say that this random "thing" is something I very much love at Disneyland and I hate that they always go viral the first couple of weeks and make it impossible to get any.

watching people at disney world melt down trying to figure out how to use their new trashcans, and having to do an instructional video for cast members has me howling... and then i realized I should fear for Disneyland mickeyvisit.com/disneys-new-...

Disney Guests Are Having Problems With New Addition, So Disney Released An Instructional Video

Walt Disney World's new trash cans are so complicated that Disney cast members released a video with instructions on using them.

Eldest went on Tiana's Bayou Adventure on Saturday and I feel compelled to share this Splash Mountain photo I took when I was just a couple of years older. I was definitely trying to take a different photo through the viewfinder, but how it turned out is way better.

1990s photograph taken at the top of the final drop on Splash Mountain. The Brer Rabbit carving on the log is in focus in the foreground, with the drop into the Briar Patch out of focus.

Maybe you'll enjoy this one. This is a hi-res scan of the sketch of the Club 33 Walt tiki mug done by Disney archivist Ed Ovalle (and also signed by him) from Disneyland

Photos taken outside the rafts while on Grizzly River Run are exceedingly rare (for some obvious reasons). I managed to get some today, including signage I have never seen. Grizzly Summit, Elevation 1,401 ft, is a nod to Imagineering's address at 1401 Flower Street. #SignageSunday
