Okay so Disneyland finally got some money out of me but I think $35 before 20% discount was decent.
Recently got a 1992 Walt Disney Imagineering VHS labeled "Mickey’s Surprise Party Tape". I expected generic B-roll, a stage show, or the old cartoon. Instead, it was a private dinner celebrating Euro Disneyland and Mickey Steinberg, Imagineering’s executive vice president, 6 weeks before it opened

Jason Schultz@jason.parkendium.com · 3d agoIf you archive enough Disneyland stuff, eventually you end up with some oddball things you can't explain. Here's a 1990s concept for "Disney's Entertainment City" outside the Main Entrance you have definitely never seen before.

Probably not a year this late, but this photo is kinda fun because you can basically see outside the park from here. It's kinda wild feeling and punches a hole in the vibe of being in a Disney park.

I can say that this random "thing" is something I very much love at Disneyland and I hate that they always go viral the first couple of weeks and make it impossible to get any.

Eldest went on Tiana's Bayou Adventure on Saturday and I feel compelled to share this Splash Mountain photo I took when I was just a couple of years older. I was definitely trying to take a different photo through the viewfinder, but how it turned out is way better.

Photos taken outside the rafts while on Grizzly River Run are exceedingly rare (for some obvious reasons). I managed to get some today, including signage I have never seen. Grizzly Summit, Elevation 1,401 ft, is a nod to Imagineering's address at 1401 Flower Street. #SignageSunday
