This #DiaDeLosMuertos, we honor the lives of immigrants who died seeking safety, in ICE custody, or at the hands of a system that failed to protect them. They were mothers, fathers, friends, and neighbors. We carry their memory forward in our fight for dignity, safety, and justice for immigrants.
ICE actions here clearly violate the 4th, 6th and 8th Amendments. The Supreme Court has said this is ok. None of us is safe.

🚨 ICE disappeared a woman on Wednesday night. She was grabbed by men in plainclothes and taken to an unidentified location. ICE is refusing to say where she is being held. It’s 72 hours later and not even a dedicated team of lawyers can find her. This is WRONG. We can’t let this be the new norm.

After Rümeysa Öztürk wrote an op-ed about Palestinians in Gaza, masked, plainclothes ICE agents grabbed her off the street. No one knew who they were or if it was even a real arrest. In a democracy, that shouldn’t happen. And we can’t let it become the new normal.
