Might be interesting to know, but the cartoon cartoons series was a shorts program, not a pilots program. We were specifically instructed to create self contained one-shot narratives. There were also two tracks, one for 7-minute “longer” stories and one for brief interstitials.

Slowly filling out some core groups... I wanted to avoid certain cheats with Laala and Mirei's eyes, and they look pretty good I think! It feels a bit generic to make Mario Luigi miis but I went for M&L-style to liven them up. Peasley is a little more like how I used to draw him #TomodachiLifeLTD

lines cut for time (7min is brutal). clementine, burdened by a disrespectful nickname she doesn’t want, struggles to understand how someone with a beautiful, imposing name (and matching appearance)—which inherently receives respect—could ever prefer a diminutive nickname.
