After over 40 years, I’m no longer affiliated to any political party in Scotland or elsewhere, but will vote for any party that acts in Scotland’s best interests. Still firmly passionate about Scottish independence. i🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Come on SNP and Scottish Greens. You both asked for our votes on manifestos that promised a second independence referendum. Together, you hold the biggest pro-independence majority in Holyrood's history. It's time to turn that mandate into action. It's time to deliver.

We already know the UK is a busted flush. We know rebranding it under Andy Burnham changes nothing. But what are the SNP actually going to do to secure another independence referendum? What's the route map? We know the case for independence - now we need to know the plan to get there.

Broken Brexit Britain is catching up with Burnham — Scottish National Party

He was looking for a job and then he found a job, and heaven knows, he’s miserable now…

Mr Swinney: “There'll be further dialogue that will be taken forward, which will enable us to discuss how best to devolve more powers into Scotland and for that to be done in a fashion that is in consort with the Scottish Government and not over our heads.” 𝗘𝗡𝗢𝗨𝗚𝗛 𝗧𝗔𝗟𝗞 𝗢𝗙 𝗗𝗘𝗩𝗢𝗟𝗨𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡

John Swinney says he will continue independence push despite Downing Street saying referendum is ‘off limits’ www.holyrood.com/news/view,jo...

We cannot afford to sit back and simply accept "no" for an answer yet again. Another Holyrood election campaign asking for both votes SNP or a second vote for the Greens is not what we want to hear. Restore our faith in the cause for independence with a credible plan forward, or step aside.

He's very interested in constitutional change, devolution to the English regions and electoral reform to name two key issues. He's just not interested in constitutional change for Scotland and Wales.

This says everything about the absurdity of the so-called "union of equals." Scotland is treated as little more than a region of England, with no real respect for its status as a proud nation or for the democratic aspirations of those seeking independence. NOW IS THE TIME

𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴: The USA is still on course to win the World Cup. Yesterday's 4–1 defeat to Belgium? Fake news. In fact, whoever ends up lifting the trophy will also be fake news.

Devolution is a reserved matter and we're only ever one Holyrood election away from a unionist majority. If Scotland is not "allowed" to pass judgement on the promises made in 2014 to secure a No vote, the UK's so-called democracy will be exposed for what it is. They'll take us down with them.

Scotland fans travel the world with nothing more than hope in their hearts, not a pretentious sense of entitlement that they have a given right to win every match or tournament Of course we're disappointed when we lose but we come home having enjoyed the experience, backed our team & made memories.

As expected Starmer resigns What will be interesting is who he chooses to grant the ermine robes to. Particularly given he is supposedly opposed to the upper chamber and had pledged to abolish it Anyone care to speculate on who might end up on his honours list and be nominated for a life peerage?

Scotland's NHS is always just one Holyrood election away from being dismantled and brought down into line with NHS England 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗡𝗣 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗴𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿. That's why independence is more important now than ever to put Scotland's public services beyond the reach of Westminster politics.

Holyrood passed a motion calling on Starmer to grant a S30 order. Mr Swinney has said he will meet Starmer to press the democratic mandate from the pro-indy Holyrood majority. Now they should Publish a draft Referendum Bill and hold further debates/motions in Holyrood to reinforce the mandate.
