The catch-22 of being told to: (1) Scrub your syllabi/program of DEI terminology so it doesn't get flagged, but also (2) Don't teach about content that wasn't advertised as part of the course. Then get fired either way.

Gone are the days of expecting the government to do its job to protect public health, so a small way we can enact the values of justice and love in our every day lives is to mask up if you're feeling sick. It's how you say "I care about others" in a world devoid of compassion.
