I don't care if people use AI to make interesting projects, but I'm begging everyone to please give it some design direction. You might have made something really great, but you're hurting yourself by allowing it to look identical to every dumb piece of slop being barfed out by an LLM.

The biggest problem with passkeys is that many sites just use them wrong, like as a second factor instead of a password replacement. Google actually does it right, then fucks it up by doing whatever they can to not let you use it, like telling you to authenticate with your YouTube app.

They also... don't work very well. Like half the services I use pay nice with passkeys and others, like ALL OF GOOGLE, have their own dips hit way of doing it that means I'm switching login modalities and falling back to Shit That Works half the time.

Tip for anybody who hasn’t seen the Odyssey yet: Seems like there were fewer ads/trailers before it than usual, probably to squeeze an extra showing in each theater. Lots of people were filtering in after it had started.
