Anecdotally, on Facebook at the height of Covid, I got a trump supporter to agree that US PPE manufacturing should be handled in the US and that, to offset increased costs to the consumer, the US govt should subsidize production.

Man, Stacy King made an unwatchable Bulls team entertaining. He didn't pull any punches when players did maddening things, but his enthusiasm for when the team was actually doing the things his teams did routinely in the 90s was palpable. Dude knew the game and how relatable its excitement was.
The Bears even signaling they'd be more willing to play atop a literal slag heap than anywhere in Illinois is coming perilously close to them alienating the millions of fans who inherited their fandom by simply being born in IL.

If they want to build a new stadium, there is quite literally nothing stopping them from doing so. Illinois does not need to "act fast".
