Then DHS officials told a skeptical Nevada, no no no, that’s just people we flagged. Here are the names of 185 people we KNOW aren’t citizens. All 185 were citizens. DHS got 100% wrong.

She had her uniform on, going to work. We were single mothers after divorces at the same time.We watched out fo each other in this what we could afford neighborhood.

This is a common lie from DHS press flacks. They claim that people who came through CBP One — who registered for an appointment through a government app, went to a port of entry, and were issued a grant of humanitarian parole by a CBP officer letting them enter — "entered illegally." Total nonsense.

Literally waited for an appointment to become available and entered with his appointment exactly as the U.S. government told him he should.
Please know that this is one of my few legitimate areas of actual, high-level professional expertise: Kicking the healthiest people off of a health insurance program will bankrupt it. Not 'could;' not 'might,' not 'probably," but absolutely will, with mathematical certainty.

whenever i hear some variation on "but what if trump does X or Y or Z" i think of this ulysses s. grant remark to a subordinate during the wilderness campaign.
Tried to get the 11 y/o out of bed. He said no. I asked on what authority he was refusing to get up. He said the Constitution. I asked where in the Constitution, and he said it was an unenumerated right. I’m very proud. He still has to get up, though

This is nationalized police force, unaccountable to citizens, that is disappearing people and it's happening here, in the United States, not a place far away and unfamiliar to you.

one common thread (among the horrifying many) between the numerous ICE shootings/murders is that no first aid was administered to the victim. armed combatants of the government shot to kill, and if they didn’t kill right away, they gave time for it to happen anyway. it is absolutely grotesque.
