Batman Japanese Menko cards, 1960’s. A couple of these poses you can tell were taken from Adam West promo photos. I love semi-bootleg art like this where details like colors are a bit off model, and probably unlicensed. This time period was rife with this kind of Batman merch, especially overseas.

RIP Gerry Conway, author of countless seminal comic stories from my (and so many other’s) childhoods. I especially loved his pairings with artists Jose Luis Garcia Lopez, Don Newton, John Romita and Jim Aparo. A great writer and human.
