One of the most cited studies supporting ShotSpotter was an op-ed vetted by the Tribune whose results were not statistically significant and published by a lab hired to initially operate ShotSpotter. Expect more of this tech-washing in the years to come. www.chicagotribune.com/2026/10/17/e...

Good things happening in the soy boy universe, like this spicy orange tofu and broccoli.

This album just feels like fall to me.

Staying true to my word. Bummer of an ending but cheers to the first fun White Sox season in half a decade.

What if I start sniffing glue? Can we get something done if I huff some paint?

This fire isn’t hot enough. Let’s pour gasoline all over it.

Glad the Sox threw that dipshit out. What was he doing?

Learning Mike Ditka died from the ticket guy at the Field Museum.

Trying not to be too demoralized. There’s more White Sox baseball Saturday.

You k pen meant five more.

Fire more.

Fire more.

Wanted more right there, but if the Sox can stay patient like that inning, they’ll get more.

More please.

Still have fond memories of Tim Belcher putting out a fire for the Sox in game 3 of the 1993 ALCS.

A little El Duque-style magic.

Do not jinx this. Do not ruin this. Most of all do not drink and drive.

They should do another Brett Favre night where they put him in prison where he belongs.

DrawPlayDave@thedrawplay.com · 2w ago

I will never forget when the Bears ruined Brett Favre night in Green Bay

Hell yeah, Dennis Hastert died.

I was right! Ump nailed that safe call.

Logical Frank@logicalfrank.com · 3w ago

Maybe he is really good at something else. Like if there's a play at the plate he fucking nails the call every time.

Me just now, “Holy shit he’s going… oh shit he’s out… no there’s the ball holy shit he’s safe!”

Fuck yeah Mune!

A long time ago on the old site Russell Crowe liked a post of mine about how there should have been a Master and Commander sequel.
