121 years ago, Alberta became a province. We had already had people living on this land for thousands of years and the treaties had been signed some 25 years earlier. Anthony Henday had explored this place nearly 150 years earlier.

An 84 yr-old woman was told she’d need to use a birth certificate or passport in order to renew her licence, which expired while she was recovering from a stroke. No passport, and her birth certificate had her maiden name, so she had to find her marriage certificate from 1961. Who asked for this?
