rosa@rosamundalongholes.bsky.social · 7d agoI went back to Emily Wilson's piece to see if I could find where she, presumably, criticizes Nolan's film for its unfaithfulness to the original text, and got four paragraphs in before finding the exact opposite.
Highly recommend this Dave Davies interview with @emilyrcwilson.bsky.social on Fresh Air. I especially liked the segment on the inherent difficulty of translation.
