So.. is everyone using some sort of AI for coding nowadays? Is this just the world we live in now? I've been using claude for close to a year now and its dramatically changed my entire workflow and capabilities.. but also.. I miss just the dopamine rush from writing code by hand.

Life has been crazy the last few months. Been working on a little lot of things including a volumetric fog that is non-temporal, has subtractive spheres, is audio reactive, and under 1ms on the GPU. Wrapping it up now!

Now that our game's out, I can show off Metron Tracker running on Quest (ARM) in #UnrealEngine 5! Late in dev I whipped up a pattern/VU-meter display in UMG as a backdrop for the intro, so you can see the sample & synth notes being played in realtime. CPU usage is pretty minimal #gameaudio #indiedev

Fog/Clouds are so fluffy now! 4ms cheaper than my previous fog implementation and much prettier imo. Using Niagara particles with a topdown projection of the areas it should clear out.

One player with 233 hours loves it, another with 0.8 hours hates it and calls it "stinky" I welcome and am open to all criticism and feedback for Mix Universe. I will also however chuckle at the absolute contrast between these 2 reviews back to back lol #gamedev

I have noticed that Godot or Jolt seems to be biased when it comes to collisions. In practice: Marbles roll clockwise curves slightly faster than counter clockwise ones. I cannot tell if this is a bug or an expression of non-determinism. I blame Coriolis Effect. #godotengine #godotjolt
