i have made a decision to (try) not to post about the terrible things because we already know the terrible things. So if you see me being silly and you are like DOES SHE KNOW ABOUT THE TERRIBLE THINGS, yes i do

I SLEPT THROUGH THE WHOLE NIGHT LAST NIGHT. From 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Briefly woke up a time or two, but went right back to sleep. I feel so much better.

It's mine and Husbando's anniversary today! We've been married for 18 years now. Heading out of the house today to get some shawarma and possibly hit up an arcade to play some classic games.

It brings me some solace to know that whatever's happening down here, there are still some absolutely incredible human-made and human-driven robots wandering around Mars, looking at cool rocks and dirt and sending us pictures just because we're curious about planets and our own origins in the cosmos

Been off the past few days because of these stomach problems, and I am completely confused as to what is happening at work now.

Went home early from work yesterday because I felt kinda icky. Stayed home today because I was up all night with stomach issues. :(

The dogs are snorting and snoring on the floor behind me. I wish I could be as relaxed as them all the time. So unbothered.

just received my new o'reilly technical book in the mail but, maybe a misprint? the wood-etching illustration on the front is an unknowable, unnameable ancient beast — we have not words in our tongue for such a fathom-defying anticreature. when i open the book, the pages howl impossible octaves

Finally making the switch from Google to Proton on some programs today, first Drive and then Mail. Calendar may be more difficult - I have a shared event calendar with some friends and another with Husbando.

How is it that I felt so happy this weekend at the event, but now feel as if I’m disconnecting from everyone and everything. Like my friendships are slipping out of my hands. The people I loved are just…moving on. I don’t know how to stay with them without feeling like I’m interfering.

Spent the day yesterday at a K-Pop PC trading event with friends, and even went to dinner with some of them after. It was a wonderful day - really rejuvenated my soul. Today, I'm marinating some steaks to cook for dinner and will probably make a batch of chicken and sausage jambalaya for lunches thi
