So what I'm doing when I say maybe her hatred of trans people is a pathological response to not being a healthy, out, proud trans men is just demonstrating that you can play the game either way. Maybe I'm not a misbehaving member of her group, maybe she's a misbehaving member of mine.

It pleases me to speculate in this way. I refuse to let up. Because her whole deal, since she came out as transphobic, has been to treat trans men as misbehaving me.bers of her group, women, who she has taken it upon herself to bring back in line.

We need two Arday inquiries: 1) Into racist (and misogynistic) bullying by UK press and social media accounts (see also Diane Abbott); and 2) into the duty of care that HE has for its minority staff - a duty of care that in my repeated experience is reserved primarily for white male sex offenders.

The death of Jason Arday shows us that all leaders in education need to speak out against racism – saying nothing in the face of prejudice is not a neutral position, writes Sufian Sadiq

Abusers are extremely good at manipulating their victims, and play your better emotions against you. They will weaponize your compassion. Parents who do this will often manipulate you w/ grandchildren. And abusers do NOT respect boundaries unless you are vigilant./

Vaccines worked. We watched diseases become rare. Now we’re watching preventable illnesses come back because misinformation and politics are being allowed to override public health. And guess who will pay the highest price? Poor people. Black people. Disabled people. Marginalized communities.

They keep telling marginalized people to “just survive” while dismantling the systems that help us survive. Preventable diseases returning isn’t an abstract political debate. People will get sick. Children will get sick. And communities with the fewest resources will suffer the most.

Kansas Department for Health and Environment says they won’t change its vaccine schedule to match the executive order from President Donald Trump but instead will continue to trust in scientific evidence and follow recommendations from major health organizations. 👏

Kansas sticks with ‘scientific evidence’ for vaccine schedule, despite Trump order • Kansas Reflector

Kansas won’t change its vaccine schedule and will follow national health organization recommendations, ignoring Trump's executive order.

Not really, imo. I think some of us are finally recognizing them as toxic or finally admitting it to ourselves. Sometimes we live with blinders and refuse to see things to our own detriment. I think a few factors have opened a lot of people’s eyes in the past decade.

The hardest part of leaving a toxic family isn’t just leaving. It’s untangling yourself from years of financial dependence, manipulation, guilt, and being told that their control is “love.” I’m trying to choose freedom anyway. I want to heal, and build the family I never had. 💔
