Posts like this do not advance the cause of science. In fact, their antagonistic tone (and often false assertions about what “religion” universally believes) only alienates the people you would like to convert. In fact, there are studies about this. It’s odd that science fans would not know that.

When my wife’s ancestors started running away from their masters some 500 years ago here in America, the illegal culture they constructed was all about accepting immigrants and refugees. The Spanish Empire was unable to exterminate her culture. The notion of an illegal person was European.
