One detail I loved about THE INVITE, is that near the end of the film Edward Norton's character has a very long, emotional monologue about how he chose the name Hawk for himself, but his initials are literally just HWK.

I knew nothing about this going in, and wasn't really sure what to expect, but it certainly wasn't something this deeply moving.

THE INVITE is such a massive step up for Olivia Wilde. She nails the script's high wire act of shifting tensions and unspoken conflicts in ways that almost left me breathless. Terrific work by the entire ensemble but Wilde is doing next-level work here. I loved this.
