Excited to announce our FIRST town hall later this month in Laredo! The Texas Railroad Commission has got nothing to do with trains and has everything to do with our utility bills, our economy, and our critical oil and gas industry. Click the link in my bio to RSVP!

We should protect all those who call Texas home, including wildlife. When data centers spread into sensitive habitats, Texans risk losing the land, water, and wildlife that make our state plentiful. It's time to put our families and our Texas heritage ahead of Wall Street's AI ambitions.

Aerial photo of a large data center complex beside electrical infrastructure and open fields, with suburban homes visible in the distance. An inset circle shows two burrowing owls, highlighting wildlife concerns. Large white text over the image reads, "NEWS: DATA CENTER GROWTH RAISES NEW CONCERNS FOR WILDLIFE," with a small bird logo in the bottom-right corner.

61 years after the Voting Rights Act became law, Texans are still fighting to be counted at the ballot box. Yesterday, the voice of the people was so loud that the Tarrant County Commissioners Court had no choice but to table their attempt to cut polling locations before the midterm election.

College credits. Industry certifications. Hands-on training. All at no cost to students. That's the reality for 65 students this year enrolled in Socorro High's P-TECH Nursing Program. It's why I passed SB 557 as part of HB 2, expanding career and technical education pathways.

⚠️ Update from Tarrant County: The Commissioners Court tabled the vote on cutting polling places after a record number of testimonies, a morning press conference, and broad public pressure. Curriculum The vote will be taken up again on Sept. 1st, so make sure to show up again in a month!

Talarico: I've passed 60 bipartisan bills through the Texas legislature. We're told that it's a choice between people who fight and people who get things done. I think the people of Texas deserve a senator who can do both — and I've shown in the statehouse that I can do both.

James Talarico: Today is the the anniversary of Ken Paxton’s famous mugshot. What's fascinating about that story is that he was scamming his own friends. If Ken Paxton is willing to scam his own friends for a quick buck, what makes you think he's not going to scam you in the United States Senate?

Governor Abbott's latest action confirms what Texans have been saying for months: unchecked AI data centers deserve far more scrutiny. If they're important enough to halt approvals and order statewide audits, they're important enough for the Texas Legislature to address in a Special Session.

Dan Patrick’s priorities are out of line with Texans. It’s time for new leadership in the Texas Senate. Vote for Vikki Goodwin as your new Lt. Governor of TX.

Hinojosa: That is Greg Abbott’s record. That’s why the polling shows people want change. They know Greg Abbott. They know he’s been there 12 years, and they will not elect him to another four. That’s the opportunity we have in this election.

Happy Birthday to the AMAZING Katie Phang!! Every single day, we’re in awe of your brilliance, integrity, and relentless fight for the truth. Here’s to another year of making a difference. We’re so grateful for you.

The Big Ugly Bill took food out of the mouths of hungry children — all so billionaires could get another tax break. But when politicians fail us, Texans show up for each other. Our campaign volunteered at a food pantry in West Dallas — because that’s what Texans do.

Texas continues to face serious drought conditions, and we need to get serious about securing water for our future. Data centers are building in Texas to take advantage of our cheap energy and sales tax incentives — and our current leadership is all talk, no action.
