61 years after the Voting Rights Act became law, Texans are still fighting to be counted at the ballot box. Yesterday, the voice of the people was so loud that the Tarrant County Commissioners Court had no choice but to table their attempt to cut polling locations before the midterm election.

Record low approval ratings, Democrats leading on the generic ballot, and courts pushing back on his attempts to undermine elections. He might not love to see it, but I sure do! Governor Abbott's latest action confirms what Texans have been saying for months: unchecked AI data centers deserve far more scrutiny. If they're important enough to halt approvals and order statewide audits, they're important enough for the Texas Legislature to address in a Special Session.
