Some weathering washes on the wheels and bodywork, plus a bit of overall grime on underbody and chassis. Always seems a bit perverse having spent all that effort getting a good gloss finish just to dull it down, but it is meant to be a working fire engine after all.

Wifey's birthday present is coming along - Tamiya MX-5/Roadster kit. No engine, but the Big T didn't skimp on the chassis detail - that was *fiddly*... Interior colour her choice, btw.

How many overtakes in this opening lap? Our MD, Julian, lined up P14 for Sunday's race in his ex-Andy Rouse RS500 Touring Car. Last weekend was the BRDC Classic Festival at Silverstone circuit. Using the classic layout of the GP circuit. Have you ever driven this layout?

Good evening all. I'm having great fun with the lancia, for an italeri kit it has been going together well. The engine is now installed, just the front suspension to go then onto the bodywork.

Looks reasonable especially given the 70s kit heritage, I am assuming it is based on their standard 928 (still need one of these) but body shell, overhead console/targa panel and clear parts are all specific to this version.

Post has arrived, been after this old Revell kit for a while. Been fascinated by b+b (Buchmann & Buchmann) creations since getting this book of 1980s 'style' nearly 40 years ago. Have always loved the impractical overhead Hi-Fi. No rainbow decals in kit though, will think of something...
