If Google wants to use AI they should have it adjust maps satellite imagery to match the season. Driving in the middle of summer with snow on the map doesn’t work for me.

I've made the mistake of listening to a lot of Peter Thiel interviews recently to try to understand his worldview. The guy is an absolute third-rate thinker who contradicts himself every 30 seconds and nobody pushes him on it.

One of my kids is in France for the heatwave and I didn’t know the French have a cultural bias against AC for supposedly health reasons. It’s not perfect (possible mold, no fresh air, etc) but dying or damage from the heat seems a problem too.

Possibly the strangest failure of CS and a prerequisite for better AI coding tools is uniform parse tree modeling of all languages, the text search/replace is totally bananas when computer languages are fundamentally machine readable.

If I see a car for $1k, buy it, and turn around and sell it for $2k I need a physical office location approved as a car dealership by the town/city and meet other regulations.
