Musk claims that Tesla is on "the march of the nines" with self-driving, describing it as the "main constraint on scaling Robotaxi". Over 90,000 miles of data and the Tracker shows FSD 14.3.4 still stuck on the first nine. Tesla has so far to go, the Cultists just can't see it.
This is framed as a feel-good story, but it should scare the wits out of anybody on the road. Tesla's deceptive marketing is convincing seniors that the cars drive themselves. In reality, a human must always be ready to intervene. If someone lacks the ability to do that, they shouldn't be driving!

In January, Master Scammer Musk said that Tesla needed 10 billion miles worth of training data for unsupervised FSD. FSD just passed 12 billion miles and is still nowhere near safe enough for unsupervised operation. FSD v14.3 and its point releases manage 731 miles between critical disengagements.
