I see an automatic license plate reader, I add it to the map. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Oh look I’ve already complained about the 151. Consistency is key.
Words cannot describe how much anger I have for the 151 bus in Chicago. It’s either 10 minutes late or 10 minutes early, and rarely is it on time.
I’m pretty sure the unsubscribe link in emails does not work anymore. Great stuff!

Roadtripping with an EV is fantastic because it breaks me of the “if I just go 5 mph over I’ll get there sooner” mentality and gets me into the “20 minutes to stretch and not be in the car is fantastic” mentality.
Has anyone who works on the Bluesky app actually used the secondary functions in the DM view? Pressing and holding on any message makes like 3 things pop up. Oh the post is tall? Good luck reacting to it! You cannot tell me someone tested this before shipping it.
Lorenzo Salgado Araujo and Joan Sebastian Guerrero weren't murdered because of car pursuits. They were murdered because the men driving those cars felt comfortable recklessly killing. None of this ends until we shut down ICE completely.
BREAKING: ICE orders officers to stop pursuing people in vehicles after fatal shootings in Maine and Texas, according to a current senior DHS official and two former senior DHS officials.
Endlessly frustrated with the Sheridan Road resurfacing in Uptown not having bike infrastructure (read: not paint) as part of the project. Happy about the curb extensions, but cars neeeeeed to be corralled since it’s so wide.
This is the second time in as many months that a city transportation planner and cycling advocate has been killed while riding. Last month Chicago lost Riley O’Neil, now the Boston cycling community had lost Louisa Gag. Gutting, infuriating, and completely preventable. No paywall: archive.ph/AJHAy
A cycling advocate and transportation planner for the city of Boston was identified as the cyclist who was struck and killed in a crash near Roxbury Crossing this morning.
To add to this: it seems to be either or. Either I can receive the South Bend FOX affiliate, or the Chicago one… and yet they’re not on overlapping frequencies.
Can someone talented with radio waves explain to me why I, residing in Chicago, can receive South Bend’s FOX affiliate better than Chicago’s FOX affiliate? Is Lake Michigan just that awesome?
Finding more and more websites not working in the most peculiar ways and keeping my thoughts to myself.
Well now that the sports issue is settled i am sure all those politicians who said they would support trans rights otherwise are getting to work on that
We love a librarian that knows Highway Gothic
don't upset the librarian
Ah so that’s what these are. I figured they were another type of automatic license plate reader CPD looooooves to install.
A network of 277 air monitors is now keeping tabs on Chicago’s air quality throughout the year.
These sentences are FUCKING ABSURD
Two defendants who received 50 years each, Savanna Batten and Elizabeth Soto, were never accused of helping plan the demonstration here. They arrived separately, left the protest when guards asked them to, and were not accused of any act of violence talkingpointsmemo.com/news/prairie...
This $420 million TIF district in the 78 would only make me feel better if those 1200 parking spaces are used to take parking spaces OFF roads so we can create bus lanes and better non-car infrastructure.
That moment when you’re a little tipsy from the festival drinks and recognize someone from social media and then you say their name… and run away because you just did that. 😅🤦♀️ I need to get out more.
I do not understand how protected bike lanes are not a default installation when resurfacing streets in Chicago.
